ANSWER

  $$84$$ and $$56$$.


SOLUTION
The two adjacent angles add up to  140140 .

Therefore the sum of the two should give $$140$$.

Let the larger be $$x$$ then the smaller is $$x-28$$

$$x + x-28= 140$$

$$2x-28= 140$$

$$2x=140+28=168$$

$$2x=168$$ (divide both sides by two)

$$x=84$$ (the larger angle)

$$84-28= 56$$ (the smaller angle)

The two angles are  $$84$$ and $$56$$.
