SOLUTION
The Chief Justice and Judges of the Supreme court and High courts are appointed by the President. The Attorney General of India is appointed by the President who holds office during the pleasure of the President. Appointments of persons to be, and the posting and promotion of, district judges or sessions judges in any State shall be made by the Governor of the State in consultation with the High Court exercising jurisdiction in relation to such State.
