# If true then enter $1$ and if false then enter $0$Can an acute angle be adjacent to an obtuse angle?

1

##### SOLUTION
A linear pair is a pair of angles that are adjacent and form a line, $180^°$. Unless the two angles are both right angles, then a linear pair is always an acute angle adjacent to an obtuse angle. The diagram is as shown in the above image.

Also, adjacent angles are angles that share a common vertex and edge but do not share any interior points. In other words, they are angles that are side by side, or adjacent, sharing an "arm". Adjacent angles which sum to a right angle, straight angle or full angle are special and are respectively called complementary, supplementary and explementary angles.

Hence, an acute angle is adjacent to an obtuse angle.
