If one of the linear pair is acute then the measure of the other angle is

obtuse

SOLUTION
A linear pair is a pair of adjacent, supplementary angles.

$\Rightarrow$  Adjacent means next to each other, and supplementary means that the measures of the two angles add up to equal $180^o$.

$\Rightarrow$  $\angle ABD$ and $\angle DBC$ are linear pair.
$\therefore$  $\angle ABD+\angle DBC=180^o.$

$\Rightarrow$  $\angle ABD+60^o=180^o$

$\Rightarrow$  $\angle ABD=120^o$

$\therefore$   If one of the linear pair is acute then the measure of the other angle is $obtuse.$
