If $$A, B, C$$ are three points on a line and $$B$$ lies between $$A$$ and $$C$$, then prove that $$AC - AB = BC$$


SOLUTION
Given $$B$$ is a point which lies on the line $$AC$$
$$\therefore$$ From Euclid's postulate,
$$AB+BC=AC$$
$$\Rightarrow{AC-AB=BC}$$
Hence, proved.
