# Find the values of the unknown x and y in the following diagram.

##### SOLUTION
Vertically opposite angles are equal
$\angle A = x$
$\angle B = x$
$\angle C = x = y$
Sum of internal angles of a $\Delta le$ is $180^o$
$\angle A + \angle B + \angle C = 180^o$
$x + x+ x = 180^o$
$3x = 180^o$
$\therefore x = 60^o$
$\therefore y = x=60^o$
