Find the value of $$x, y$$ and $$z$$ in the figure.

ANSWER

$$x=60^{o}, y=60^{o}, z=120^{o}$$

SOLUTION
$$z={ 120 }^{ \circ  }$$ (vertically opposite angles)

$$ 120+x={ 180 }^{ \circ  }$$(sum of angles on a straight line=$${ 180 }^{ \circ  }$$)

$$\Rightarrow\  x={ 60 }^{ \circ  }$$

$$ \therefore y=x={ 60 }^{ \circ  }$$ (vertically opposite)
