# Find the value of $x, y$ and $z$ in the figure.

$x=60^{o}, y=60^{o}, z=120^{o}$

##### SOLUTION
$z={ 120 }^{ \circ }$ (vertically opposite angles)

$120+x={ 180 }^{ \circ }$(sum of angles on a straight line=${ 180 }^{ \circ }$)

$\Rightarrow\ x={ 60 }^{ \circ }$

$\therefore y=x={ 60 }^{ \circ }$ (vertically opposite)
