Let the required angle be $$x$$, then its complement $$=(90-x)\quad $$
Given that $$ x=(90-x)+80$$
$$ \Rightarrow 2x=170\\ \Rightarrow x=\dfrac { 170 }{ 2 } \\ \Rightarrow x={ 85 }^{ o }\\
