An angle is equal to $8$ times its complement. Determine its measure.

SOLUTION
Let $\alpha$ & $\beta$ be the angles

$\alpha =8\beta$ ;$\alpha +\beta=90^{\circ}$

$9\beta =90^{\circ}$

$\therefore$  $\beta =10^{\circ}$
$\alpha =80^{\circ}$

You're just one step away
