An angle is $$14^{o}$$ more than its complement. Find its measure. 


SOLUTION
Two angle whose sum is $$90^o$$ are called complementary angels
Let one angle be $$=x$$
It's complementary angles $$+x+14$$
$$x+x+14=90$$
$$2x=90-14$$
$$2x=76$$
$$x = \dfrac{{76}}{2}$$
$$x=38$$
One angle is $$38$$
Second angle $$=x+14$$
$$=38+14$$
$$52$$
which is the  requied answer.
