I have really lenared some new things as a result of your web site. One other thing I'd really like to say is always that newer computer system operating systems are likely to allow more memory to be used, but they additionally demand more storage simply to run. If your computer is not able to handle a lot more memory plus the newest computer software requires that storage increase, it may be the time to buy a new Computer. Thanks

Girirajsinh,North Indian Ocean is divided into two areas by India: the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, with the Bay of Bengal dtnamioing (5 to 6 times more activity). Still, this basin is the most inactive worldwide, with only 4 to 6 storms per year. This basin's season has a double peak: one in April and May, before the onset of the monsoon, and another in October and November, just after monsoon. Although it is an inactive basin, the deadliest tropical cyclones in the world have formed here, including the 1970 Bhola cyclone, which killed 500,000 people. Nations affected include India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar, and Pakistan. Rarely do tropical cyclones that form in this basin affect the Arabian Peninsula or Somalia; however, Cyclone Gonu caused heavy damage in Oman on the peninsula in 2007.The above from Wikipedia. Why there are fewer cyclones over the Arabian Sea as compared to the Bay of Bengal?Cyclones that form over the Bay of Bengal are either those develop insitu over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman Sea or remnants of typhoons over Northwest Pacific and move across south China sea to Indian Seas. As the frequency of typhoons over Northwest Pacific is quite high (about 35 % of the global annual average), the Bay of Bengal also gets its increased quota. The cyclones over the Arabian Sea either originate insitu over southeast Arabian Sea (which includes Lakshadweep area also) or remnants of cyclones from the Bay of Bengal that move across south peninsula. As the majority of Cyclones over the Bay of Bengal weaken over land after landfall, the frequency of migration into Arabian Sea is low.In addition to all the above the Arabian Sea is relatively colder than Bay of Bengal and hence inhibits the formation and intensification of the system. This from IMD.

RE: A divorce court has no auittrhoy over the original agreement between a party that is not part of the divorce case. In other words, if I lend a husband and wife some cash with each one individually responsible, then the divorce court cannot change that agreement. What the divorce court can order, however, is who is responsible between the two, former married couple, for the debt. If a party does not hold up to this agreement, then the divorce court is the proper venue, right before the same Judge that signed the order again the third party is not part of that case. The Bankruptcy court has auittrhoy, however, to terminate the legal responsibility to pay back debt, within the bounds of the bankruptcy code. (I am no attorney, but it is my basic understanding that debt secured by primary residential real estate is, generally speaking, not subject to much discretion. See the whole cram down issue regarding mortgage debt and bankruptcy.) Rate this comment: 0 0

times in the past few weeks you have honestly ametitdd you do not understand the bond market. Now you are the genius kid wonder proclaiming wisdom about the bond market and the bond market vigilantes today and what they are telling us. What's today's flavor? Kool-Aid should create a Krugman flavor for the administration's ho. They can call it Sky High Berry that tastes like gulf oil. Drink up misunderstood me. I thought interest rates would go much higher and I never believed that interest rates would go so low. they are still pretty low. I envisioned stock prices falling because bonds were tanking. the opposite happened during the crisis of 2008. therefore I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't fight the market. I don't know what is going on. I now listen to what the bond market is doing because I don't know what's going on. it's the logical thing to do when you're wrong.when I'm wrong I change my mind, what do you do sir? RE: Trigger, Stocks Tanked TodayCongress wants $79B more for unemployment extnosiens .perhaps that's the lagging indicator job creation the blurry eyed pundits dream up.What scares the Hades out of me is all the toxic oil spewed on America and they also predict a bad hurricane season, IMO, likely flooding America's seaside lands [100s of miles inland?] with oil and oil thinner chemicals? When you eat your fish dinner this holiday weekend and it came from the south, now you have to worry about more things in it than just mercury. The fumes alone along the American south coast water front property will probably give you cancer. And its heading for Florida, if the oil goes around Florida and gets caught in the Atlantic currents ..New York? Even Europe? But the oil spill is minor and won't affect the Seattle economy at all .LOL Rate this comment: 0 0

RE: Scotsman Why do you think that:What you haven’t grasped yet is that the pnritnig/default option you favor leads to the same sort of pain- it just comes in through a different door. What if:1) You smoke investors that you are gearing up to create a big project. You send China the American Flag and tell them that you will send some IMF experts to monitor their spending.2) You send some experts that will talk about some banking regulations etc.3) You tell everybody that you are ramping up spending on a temporary basis but you will be careful at some point and as IMF preaches the US will set the gold standard for spending. And then you ram like that for say 20 years. Investors will forget, China will be fine and everybody will be happy. Effectively this would be welfare at the expense of other countries like China. Is such a project feasible? Some people will say that math is math and people will demand now from the US to follow what IMF preaches. But generally you can smoke people for some time and this can be good at times. You can go thru some good times. Rate this comment: 0 0

By :RE: A quick check shows that the Malaysian stock market peeakd at just under 1300 in 1997. Last week it closed at right at 1300. That's twelve years to get back to where it was before the crash of 1997-1998. That's also in nominal terms, not inflation adjusted. Just like the current rally in the U.S., the market did come back to 3/4 of its peak value pretty quickly. But here we are 12 years later, and in inflation adjusted terms their market is still at only 50% of peak.I'm not sure how you think this example supports your intended point. In fact, it looks more like you just gave credibility to the opposition. I'd suggest you try again. ;-)I don't think you get it. I have been talking about what a recovery looks like. we aren't talking about 1300. we are talking about 300, the point of maximum pessimism. we are talking about gdp down 40%. the currency down 40%. capital controls. a pegged currency. if we move our starting point, from 300 to 1300 in 10 or 11 years is awesome growth, especially from the end of the world bottom. if they can dig out of a gdp plunge of 40%, we can dig out of our measly 6% plunge. the fact that the falling currency boosted exports and the recovery gives us hope. contrary to popular belief we do manufacture a lot. RE: Scotsman You are right on the mark. Who cares about the debt hldreos? But in order not to make them angry you have to kind of make a sell pitch to the old debt hldreos. For example you can say that in order to stabilize the world economy which is also in the interest of the old debt hldreos you will be issuing new papers. This should not be a big deal because monetary base is smaller now compared to 2 years ago. And you have to smile a lot and pat people on the back. Tell them that we are rolling hard and the old debt hldreos will witness remarkable history etc. And then you are right. You get rid of debt by printing or defaulting. And then you go for a hike a relax. You tell people to take on more debt ASAP so the economy starts moving again. The problem is if old debt hldreos smell something rotten going on. So in order to prevent this you print cash in chunks. So people kind of get used to the printing schedule. You should not do too many things at one time. And you just hike and relax. That is if you live in the NW. In DC you go for a walk to the park or maybe you try to relax on the beach somewhere. I think the solutions do not have to be so painful. Scotsman tell me if I am completely wrong here. I think this is what the current administration wants to do anyways. Rate this comment: 0 0

By :By :By :By :Maybe we should start a spin-off site claled When it comes to risk and marriage, it's always July, 2007. ;-)It's a great time to marry?I saw a sign along the road in Everett today.Happy Wife!Happy Life!Avoid Foreclosure.I was inspecting a house in Fed Way, and as I jumped down from poking my head in the attic space the trapdoor fell shut on my hand just before I let go. My titanium wedding band was forcibly removed along with some skin and flesh. I was lucky not to lose the finger. As it was I merely sprained the joint. I think there's a message here somewhere. For one thing definitely use a ladder to inspect attic spaces. Another might be more subtle and more sinister I'm not a superstitious person, but this wasn't exactly a little thing like seeing a black cat or walking under a ladder. As for the house? Some other idiot paid 2007 prices for it. I can't compete with that kind of stupid although clearly I need to be more careful looking at houses. It hadn't had any updates, either. I was left scratching my head and nursing a torn knuckle.I'm actually very glad we didn't buy that house, in retrospect. It wasn't worth half of what they ended up selling it for. No character whatsoever. Instant negative equity, at the price the final buyer paid. This is amazing can afford 1000s of dollars worth of titanium ring but cannot afford a 200K house!consumerism at its best Rate this comment: 0 0

RE: The first energy emrgbao of the early 1970s was OPEC related. The late 1970s was from low production from Iraq/Iran. After that, there was problems with OPEC member cheating. The cheating is very difficult to support, but later when OPEC has calling for lowered production, prices have remained relatively low. Cheating is one explanation, but other explanations include increase efficiencies, alternative fuels, and behavioral changes that reduce demand (such as teens reducing cruising).Today there are two problems:1. Not many have been able to raise prices, no matter input costs.2. Efficiencies are much higher, so the total impact is lower.I estimate that on average fuel is 20% of the cost of vehicle ownership. There's the cost of capital (or opportunity cost), maintenance, insurance, depreciation, taxes, fees, tolls, and so on. This depends, in large part, on the number of miles traveled and the age of the car. The fuel percentage is generally lower for someone driving a brand new car, no matter the number of miles traveled. On the other hand, if someone is driving a 1989 Ford Ranger, the fuel expense is probably more than 20%, if the number of miles driven is high enough. The bigger problem, however, is a result from poor computation of costs. We all have seen the person who is upside down on a car (i.e. owe more than the vehicle is worth). They think they are getting ahead by driving that new car, but in the end, the cost was much more.
